What makes you more special than any other human? What gives you the stuff of life that sets your life apart? What candle does your taper hold that burns brighter and clearer? Give me just one reason to treat you right. Convince me.
Set apart from lesser men, you stand above the mean? You see much farther than the rest and therefore know the most? What little folk that labor on are footstools for your mighty strength? You cannot know love before you earn respect. Convince me.
Does not a leader grow in kindness and in humble grace? Will he be willing to embrace the knowledge of his peers? Can such a man lead others by his willingness to follow? These traits, I believe, embody commanders of armies and masters of men. They inspire, teach, protect, and love. They have little to prove, and everything to lose. They have convinced me.
