An Affront to Reason

‘Long the lines of what is absurd
Lies the limelight of each twisted word
And to every damnation, a poet rescinds
What he hoped he’d, persistent, allured.

So again, worship the grounded
Through your clarity, futures are clouded
A spark of disdain, a lovelife begins
Fluidly, we’ll stay dumbfounded.

Envision a system for blind men
Strike rulers from loft as the con men
A more sovereign you stays obliquely alive
Else, mistake fouled madness for passion.

Containment will only sink errands
Long-lost are the deeds of our brethren
Rather than linger, and let soldiers die
We must bolster, must conquer, must win.
