A Man of God

A man of God is a disciple of Christ and a vessel for the Holy Spirit.
A man of God is strong in Mind and humble in Spirit.
A man of God is a pillar of strength for those around him, and keeps no reserves.
A man of God is bold and courageous, stepping out in Faith as he strives to be like Christ.
A man of God is constantly searching for wisdom, humility, and strength, for he never has enough.
A man of God is victorious over physical lust and temptation, for these things are of sin.
A man of God is honored among men, and humble enough to point to God as His honor.
A man of God is reliant solely on God for his needs, and is a good steward of what he is given.
A man of God is Holy and righteous in the sight of his Lord, and acts accordingly.
A man of God is respectful of women, and treats them with Love and Honor.
A man of God is honest and generous, giving freely and asking nothing in return.
A man of God is calm and peaceful, but quick to defend those weaker than himself.
A man of God is patient, for he knows that God will provide.
A man of God is an example for his family, his friends, and everyone who looks up to him.
A man of God is kind, and his wife and children know this inexplicably.

A man of God knows what is true, and is unwilling to accept a lie from anyone else.
A man of God holds the weight of the world on his shoulders, and doesn’t even know it.
A man of God keeps his honor by defending anothers’.
A man of God trusts without asking, confides without restraint, and believes without doubt.
A man of God becomes more like Christ every day, and every day feels the need to be closer.
A man of God returns to the Cross when he sins, repents, fixes, forgives, and continues boldly on.
A man of God accepts what God gives him and makes the best of it, because he expects nothing else.
A man of God raises his children in the Lord, teaching them what is Holy and Godly.
A man of God dives into the Scriptures with exuberance, learns them, and shares them with everyone.

A man of God must be willing to understand and admit that he will never get it all right, and will mess up until the day he is called back home. He must work hard to grow closer to God in order to make him stronger than temptation and sin, so when he stands before his Lord and Savior in heaven, he may be blessed and know he is truly a man of God.
