This is the first official post for Blinding Light Video on WordPress.com. My name is Matt Chimento, and I’m the current owner/creative director for Blinding Light Video, a small videography/graphic design company in Orlando, FL. We’re hoping to expand into the realm of the hip and cool, as well as reach across the chasm to the need-based art we provide on a daily basis.
Wedding planners, dance studios, and start-up businesses are only a few of the clients we serve, and engage regularly for inspiration in different art forms, concepts, styles, and ideas. We make sure the quality of our work comes before the speed or expense of it, and our customers are valued higher than our salaries. We’ve found this usually makes for happier people on both sides of the drawing board.
We’re also into the independent film arena, with an award-winning short called “The Love Story of Peter Fracken” (the links are at the bottom of the post) and another 15-minute drama on the way. We work under the title Blinding Light Studios, and you can visit some of our pages there as well.
Currently, our sites are under construction, as I’m still learning Flash CS3 and building the websites from the ground up. A placekeeper site for BLV will be up very soon, with downloadable PDF forms and portfolios, and after that, some work reel samples, so check back often.
