It’s amazing how strong a regret can be when you look back at an event a year later. I have a lot of things to regret, or to want to take back, but none of them so overwhelmingly irresponsible as what I did a year ago. I wish I had the opportunity to go back to this date last year and, armed with the knowledge I have today, tell myself to shut up. The result couldn’t possibly be worse than what actually followed.
